Robert Lee Justice

SMYRNA - Robert Lee Justice, age 82 of Smyrna, passed away on June 12, 2015 surrounded by his family. Mr. Justice was born March 5, 1933, in Oceana, W. Va., the son of the late Oscar and Gaye Justice. He retired after over 30 years of work for Ralph Degli Obizzi and Sons of Wilmington. Robert enjoyed playing cards and watching NASCAR. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Ruby Alice; his granddaughter, Christy; and his son-in-law, William. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Frances; two daughters, Roberta Lee Justice-Durham and Regina Scruggs; three sons, Robert "Jr.", Wayne and James; 12 grandchildren, Stephanie (whom he raised as his daughter), Michele, John, Chris, Tabitha, Tiffani, Emily, Amanda, Brooke, Drisco, Baron and Raymond; several great grandchildren including Victoria, Zachary, Brooke, Destanie, AJ, Xander, JJ, and Lexi; two great grandchildren on the way, Jaxon and Madison; as well as four sisters, Gloria, Mary Louise, Linda Sue and Judy; and three brothers, Russell, Oscar and James Larry. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Faries Funeral Chapel, located at 29 S. Main St. in Smyrna. Funeral services will begin at 12:30 p.m. Burial will follow at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Bear.
