Robert Jay Gsell, 45

WORTON, Md. - Robert Jay Gsell of Worton, died Tuesday, July 10, 2007, in Baltimore. He was 45.

Mr. Gsell was born on Jan. 18, 1962, in Chestertown to Silver Joseph Gsell Jr. and Marie Pritz.

He attended Kent County High School and then became certified as a master technician through the National Auto Glass Association in 1991.

Mr. Gsell was self-employed as a glass installer for 17 years in Elkton, Md.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, crabbing and NASCAR.

Mr. Gsell was well known for his ability to make people laugh.

He was preceded in death by his father; and two brothers, Silver J. Gsell III and Christopher C. Gsell.

He is survived by his mother; two sisters, Kim G. Cochran and her husband, Jay of Chestertown and Donna M. Gsell of Worton; a brother, Kenneth Gsell of Worton; two nephews, Silver J. Gsell IV and John J. Cochran III; three nieces, Jennifer Gsell, Danielle Nicole Naundorf and Amanda Renee Friedel; two great-nephews, Gage Daniel Gomez and Jake Franklin Heding.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Fellows, Helfenbein and Newnam Funeral Home in Chestertown, where friends may call one hour prior.

Burial will immediately follow at Chester Cemetery in Chestertown.
