DOVER - Robert J. Welch passed away Fri., Apr. 12, 2013 at Courtland Manor Nursing Home. Mr. Welch was born Jan. 2, 1927 in Wyoming, Del. to the late Paul Welch and Ann McMichael Welch. He worked as a brick mason retiring in 1997. Mr. Welch enjoyed wood working and gardening. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Biddle Welch, 2007. He is survived by his daughter, Carol Donophan and her husband James of Dover; grandchildren, Jenny Bennett and Amy Walter; two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tues., Apr. 16, 2013 at Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford Street, Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Dover.
