SMYRNA - Robert (Bob) Givens passed away at Bayhealth Hospital in Dover after a short illness on Jan. 8, 2019.
He was born on May 4, 1952 to the late William and Myrtle Givens.
Bob is survived by his wife of 45 years, Suzanne; his son, Michael Givens of Smyrna; his daughter, Michelle Mintz and her husband Art of Felton; his grandson, Aiden Givens of Smyrna; his brother, Jim Givens and his wife Edna of Smyrna; and his sister-in-law, Helen Lowman and her granddaughter, Chelsea Quinn of Kenton. He is also survived by his nieces, Nicole Brittingham and her husband Sam and their family of Smyrna; Danielle Hopp and her husband Matt and their family of Smyrna; and his nephew, Eric Apgar and his wife Joni and their family of Stockton, Md.
He retired from BJ's Wholesale Club and he loved to go fishing with his grandson, gardening, and vacationing with friends.
