Robert George Weible III, 73

GEORGETOWN - Robert George Weible III of Georgetown died Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2006, in Beebe Medical Center, Lewes. He was 73.

Mr. Weible was born in Arden, son of the late Robert George Jr. and Kathryn Ann (Way) Weible.

He and his wife relocated to Sussex County in 1985 from Folsom, Pa.

Mr. Weible served in the U.S. Army from 1953 to 1955.

He was employed by the former Westinghouse Power Generation Division, Lester, Pa., as a layout draftsman for 31 years.

Mr. Weible was a member of the Lewes Senior Center and American Legion Post 8, Georgetown.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Jean (Moore) Weible; two daughters and a son-in-law, Roberta Jean and Raymond J. Rucier of Milmont, Pa. and Lori Ann Wieble of Media, Pa.; two brothers and two sisters-in-law, William Walter and Sara Jane Weible of Arden and Richard Allan and Grace Evelyn Weible of Folsom; and three grandchildren, Stephanie Ellen Rucier, Andrew Robert Rucier, and Ryan James Rucier, all of Milmont.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Knoetgen Funeral Home, 746 Kedron Ave., Morton, PA 19070, where friends may call one hour prior to the service.

Burial will be in Philadelphia Memorial Park, Malvern, Pa.

Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Georgetown EMS, P.O. Box 202, Georgetown, DE 19947.
