Robert Gene Snyder, 92
DOVER - Robert Gene Snyder of Dover died peacefully Friday, Dec. 8, 2006, in Capitol Healthcare Services, Dover, surrounded by his family. He was 92.
Mr. Snyder was born Aug. 1, 1914, in Danville, Pa., son of the late Leroy and Roseanna (Heller) Snyder.
He retired as a civil service employee at the Dover Air Force Base supply after 35 years as a foreman.
Mr. Snyder was a member of the Moose Lodge in Danville and Harrington, and NARFE, Dover.
He was preceded in by his beloved wife of 57 years, Marian (Cormier) Snyder.
He is survived by three daughters and three sons-in-law, Linda and Bruce Tease of Newark, Denise and Bayard Holleger of Rehoboth Beach and Diane and Charles Woodring of Hockessin; and three grandchildren, Bree Tease, Kelly Holleger and Charles Woodring.
Services will be private.
Arrangements by Torbert Funeral Chapel, Dover.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to a charity of choice.
