Yaiser, 76

SMYRNA - Robert David Yaiser of Smyrna died on May 21, 2007, in Broadmeadow Healthcare in Middletown. He was 76.

Born on March 5, 1931, in Huntington, Long Island, N.Y., he was the son of the late Christian and Anna Mae (Ryder) Yaiser.

He moved to Delaware in the 1960s where he farmed and owned and operated a produce market known as Bob"s Market until his illness.

He was a member of the Delaware Farm Bureau. His greatest pleasure was selling his flowers and Christmas trees.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Frederick Yaiser of Middletown in 1991; his sister, Eleanor Soulagnet of Dix Hills, Long Island, N.Y. in 2000.

He is survived by a brother, Albert Yaiser and his wife, Lucille, of Elkton, Md.; four sisters, Marjorie Benson, Edith Benson, Betty Lizza, and her husband, Lawrence, all of Long Island, and Mildred Bergold of Dover; and a host of nieces and nephews all who will cherish his memory.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Daniels and Hutchison Funeral Home, LLC, 212 North Broad Street, Middletown, where friends may call one hour prior to services.

Interment will follow in St. Anne"s Cemetery, Middletown.
