Robert Charles Reedy, 61

GOLDSBORO, Md. - Robert Charles Reedy of Goldsboro died Thursday, Jan. 4, 2007, in Memorial Hospital at Easton. He was 61.

He was born May 17, 1945, in New Brunswick, N.J., son of the late Grover and Alice (Hye) Reedy.

Mr. Reedy, a resident of the area for the last 40 years, was a self-employed carpenter.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Arthur Reedy.

He is survived by three sons, Robert James "Bob" Reedy of Frederica, Del., Charles Vernon Franklin Reedy of Florida and Matthew Dillon Reedy of Felton, Del.; five daughters, Robin Michelle Ervin of Greensboro, Dolores Ann Jewell of Ridgely, Shannon Faith Jean Reedy and Rebekah Mae Violet Reedy, both of Felton, and Zabrina Alice Jean Reedy of Florida; a brother, Donald Reedy of Coudersport, Pa.; 12 grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.

Services will be 3 p.m. Tuesday in Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home, Greensboro, where friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday.

Burial will be in Greensboro Cemetery.

The family suggests memorial contributions to help defray funeral costs to Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home, PO Box 160, Greensboro, MD 21639.
