Robert C. "Bob" Fitzcharles Sr., 74

MILFORD - Robert C. "Bob" Fitzcharles Sr. of Milford passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2007, in Harrison Senior Living, Georgetown. He was 74.

Mr. Fitzcharles was born in Ithaca, N.Y., son of the late Howard Monroe and Mary Bridget Miller Fitzcharles.

He was employed with Kraft Foods for 30 years and worked in production, retiring in 1996. He also worked as an outside contractor, maintenance mechanic at Dover Air Force Base.

Mr. Fitzcharles enjoyed Dodgers baseball, movies and music and he was an avid collector of records, VHS tapes and reel to reel recordings. He also loved listening to old time radio shows.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife and caregiver, Margaret Helen Dolbow Fitzcharles Wallace.

He is survived by two daughters, Dolores Ann Dill of Milford and Mary Zeller of Townsend; four sons, Robert Carl Fitzcharles Jr., Howard Monroe Fitzcharles and James Vincent Fitzcharles, all of Harrington and Anthony Wayne Fitzcharles of Felton; 17 grandchildren, Albert Dill Jr., Joseph Samuel Dill, Christopher Allen Dill, Julia Anna Dill, Josh Fitzcharles, John Fitzcharles, Jason Fitzcharles, Jennifer Fitzcharles and Amy Margaret Fitzcharles, Christina, Glenn Dylon, James Fitzcharles, Lisa Smith, Heidi, Matthew Fitzcharles, Cassandra Fitzcharles-Wiggins and Anthony Fitzcharles; 11 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Ronald James Fitzcharles of Cape Coral, Fla. and Howard Monroe Fitzcharles of Smyrna, Tenn.

A graveside memorial service will be 2 p.m. Sunday in Barratts Chapel Cemetery, Bay Road, Frederica. Pastor Ken Figgs will officiate.
