ASHBURN, Va. - Robert Allen Hitchens, 76, of Ashburn, Va., on Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2012, at his residence. Survived by his wife, Linda "Chippy"; son, Tim; granddaughter, Heather; and two grandchildren, Delylah and Jaden. Also survived by brothers, Charles, Darrel, Kenny; and sisters Barbara, Sylvia, Norma, Patty and Ann. His kindness, warmth and good humor touched all who knew him. His willingness to sacrifice and serve others will be deeply missed. The memories we have of him will forever be treasured up in our hearts. Bob, we love you dearly.
