MILTON - Rita Suarez of Milton passed away Sunday, April 22, 2007, in her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Rita was born in Havana, Cuba, daughter of the late Jose and Margarita de la Pezuela Alicot. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Fernando Suarez; and a son, Humberto Suarez.
A wonderful homemaker, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Rita will be deeply and sadly missed by her family that adored her.
She leaves behind a daughter, Gladys Suarez; a son and daughter-in-law, Jorge and Angela Suarez; two granddaughters, Liliana Suarez and Angela Suarez; and five great-grandchildren, Elliot, Evan and Patrick Flaharty, and Sara and Isabella Feraca.
A funeral service will be today 1 p.m. in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal St., Milton, where friends may call one hour prior.
Entombment will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park, Millsboro.
