Rita Pauline Whaley, 67, of Milford, DE, departed this life on Sunday, November 2, 2025. Born August 11, 1958, in Milford, she was the daughter of the late John D. Whaley and Irene G. Hall Whaley. She gained her wings on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at Bayhealth Hospital - Sussex Campus in Milford.
She will be lovingly remembered by: two sisters, Delores Bonville (Seward) and Mary Whaley; one brother, Kenneth Whaley (Jackie); a sister-in-law, Janice Whaley; a brother-in-law, Dennis Arnold; special nieces, Jane E. Winters (Timothy III), Sandra Sessoms (Jarvis), and Myeshia Whaley; special nephews, Delbert Allen Whaley, Michael Whaley (Faith), Steven Whaley (Donna), Carl Holmes (Felicia), Tyrone Bonville (Syleethia), Andy Upshur, Mark Whaley, and Mikey Whaley (Stephanie); several cousins, other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Ms. Whaley will lie in repose on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, from 10AM to 12PM at Kingdom Life Christian Center, 1530 Blairs Pond Road, Milford. The funeral service will begin at 12PM. Interment will follow at Milford Community Cemetery, 300 S. Rehoboth Boulevard, Milford. A ministry of comfort and dignity is being provided by Lewis N. Watson Funeral Home, P.A. in Salisbury, MD.
