Rita M. Forbes, 81 SMYRNA - Rita M. Forbes, of Smyrna, passed away on May 30, 2010. She was 81. She was born in Philadelphia, and had resided in Smyrna since 1976. Mrs. Forbes was a homemaker and was a member of St. Polycarp Catholic Church, Smyrna. She was preceded in death by her husband Harry Forbes Jr.; and three sons, Martin, Harry III, and Frankie Forbes. She is survived by two daughters, Jeannie Pennewell and Mary Paulish; two sons, Robert and Charles Forbes; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at noon, Friday, June 4, at St. Polycarp Catholic Church, Ransom Lane and South St., Smyrna.
