DOVER - Riley C. Mozingo of Dover passed away Friday, Oct. 25, 2013 at Courtland Nursing Home. He was 94. Mr. Mozingo was born March 6, 1919 in Indian Springs, North Carolina to the late Walter Mozingo and Pearl Crawford Mozingo. He served in the United States Army during WWII as a Medical/Dental Technician. Mr. Mozingo then worked for General Electric for 32 years. He enjoyed western movies, baseball, gardening and fishing. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Bertha Rose Snay Mozingo. He is survived by brothers, Arthur Mozingo of New Port Richie, Fla., and Charles Mozingo of Mt. Olive, N.C.; and sisters, Lillian Beckam of San Antonio, Texas and Ann Higgins of Dover; several nieces and nephews; and caregiver Mellody Seber of Dover. A visitation will be held from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2013, at Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford St., Dover. Interment will be in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Chelmsford, Mass.
