Richard R. Rees

DELMAR - Richard R. Rees passed away Monday, Dec. 12, 2016 at Nanticoke Hospital. Richard was born June 22, 1972 in Wilmington, to Sandra Nolan Rees and the late Roland Rees. He was supervisor for FAO Schwartz. Richard enjoyed Star Wars, Star Trek, comic book movies, and anything sci-fi related. He also enjoyed spending time with his mother and talking with his best friend. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by half-brother, Roland J. Rees, Jr. Richard is survived by his mother Sandra Rees, of Delmar; brothers, Michael Rees and his wife, Trudie, of Melbourne, Fla., Jason Rees and his wife, Valerie, of Delmar; longtime friend, Beverly Knotts, of Hockessin; half-sister, Marian Rees; and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford Street, Dover, DE 19904 to help defray funeral expenses. Letters of condolences may be sent and guest book signed at www.torbertfuneral.com.
