ELLICOTT CITY, Md. - Richard McGinnis, of Ellicott City, passed away in his home on Monday, Sept. 5, 2011. He was 41. Richard was a member of St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, in Milford. He enjoyed traveling, politics and spending time at the beach. Richard was a graduate of Lake Forest High School Class of 1988, where he was student government president. Richard is survived by his partner of 12 years, Mark Molnar of Ellicott City; his parents, Carroll and Stella McGinnis of Felton; a brother, David Lee McGinnis of Camden; and his cat, Joy. A Mass of Christian Burial will be noon, Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011, at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, Seabury Ave. and School Place, Milford, where visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon. Burial will be in Epworth Cemetery, Rehoboth. Arrangements in the care of Berry-Short Funeral Home, Milford.
