Richard L. Regan, 73

DOVER - Richard L. Regan, of Dover, passed away Saturday, Nov. 22, 2008, in his home. He was 73. He was born on Sept. 17, 1935, in Rome, N.Y., son of the late Carl and Mary (Fahy) Regan. Richard served his country proudly in the United States Air Force for 22 years as an airplane mechanic. He spent most of his life in Rome, N.Y., where he drove a city bus and later moved to Melbourne, Fla., where he drove a school bus. He enjoyed woodworking, carpentry and ceramics. Richard was a member of the VFW, Masonic Lodge and the Moose Club of New York. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by a daughter, Janet Blanco in 1993; and five brothers, Kenneth, Donald, Carl, Robert and Thomas Regan. He is survived by his wife, Lydia E. Regan; a daughter, Joann Campbell of Felton; a son, Joseph Stefanski; seven grandchildren, Matt Bennett of Virginia Beach, Angela Quinn of Seattle, Wash., Mark Campbell and Melinda Campbell both of Dover, Tanya Seymour of Florida, Tareylyn Cripe of Virginia and Eric Seymour of Florida; eight great-grandchildren, Abbey Quinn of Washington, Chloe Quinn of Washington, Morgan Ramsey of Virginia Beach, Seth Ramsey of Virginia Beach, Victoria Applegreen of Florida, Arial Solis, Sophie Roller and Danielle Roller all of Virginia; two brothers, Ronald Regan and his wife Patricia of a Rome, N.Y. and John Regan and his wife Beatrice of Georgia; two sisters, Helen Murabito of Rome, N.Y. and Anna Hess of New York; two sisters-in-law, Helen Regan of New York and Frances Regan of Maine and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming. Mass of Christian Burial will be noon Wednesday at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 631 S. State St., Dover. Burial will follow at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to Delaware Hospice, 911 S.
