BRIDGEVILLE - Rev. Shirley L. Moorer, entered her Heavenly mansion on Sunday, Dec. 14, 2008, in the Delaware Hospice Center, surrounded by her family. She was 73. A dedicated, devout Christian woman, she was an associate Minister at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Bridgeville. She is survived by husband, Willie; son, John; daughters, Tamara Barnes, Erna Elaine Moorer-Crapper, Cheryl K. Cuffee, and Tracey D. Crapper; 20 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Apostle Dr. T.G. Thompson; her best friend, Sister Betty Carter; her pastor, Rev. Woodrow Evans and the congregation of Mt. Olive Baptist Church; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Bridgeville. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the church. Burial will be Monday at the Delaware Veteran's Cemetery, Millsboro. Arrangements by Deborah E. Harris-Nock Funeral Services, Greenwood.
