ROCK HALL, Md. - Rev. Clarence Hawkins of Rock Hall, Md. (Edesville) passed away at home on March 28, 2016. Rev. Hawkins was born on March 21, 1937 to the late John and Cordley Hawkins. Besides pastoring for many years, he was also an educator in the Kent County School system. He leaves to mourn his wife, Vera of Rock Hall, Md.; one daughter, Renata of Savannah, Ga.; two sons, Clarence II (Angela) of Atlanta, Ga., John (Yvonne) of New Castle, Del.; one sister, Clementine of Rock Hall, Md.; two brothers, Clemens of Salisbury, Md. and Carroll of Worton, Md.; one granddaughter, Reraya of Savannah, Ga.; and one grandson, Aaron Moore of New Castle, Del. Celebration of Life Services will be 1 p.m on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Kent County High School, 25301 Lambs Meadow Rd., Worton, Md. with a two hour viewing prior to service. Friends may also view Friday, April 1, 2016 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Holy Trinity AME Church, 22072 Martin Wagner Rd., Rock Hall, Md.
