DAGSBORO - Retha L. Kauffman Cleveland of Dagsboro passed away Thursday, March 15, 2007, in her home. She was 51.

Mrs. Cleveland was born in Salisbury, Md.

She had just received her ring for 25 years of service with M&T Bank in Millsboro.

Mrs. Cleveland always had a smile for everyone and had an abundance of friends. It seems everyone loved her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Kauffman.

She is survived by her husband, James R. Cleveland Jr.; mother and stepfather, Hilda and Raymond Mitchell; stepmother, Barbara Kauffman; a son, Matthew Kauffman and his wife, Megan; stepchildren, Miles Cleveland and his wife, Lisa, James R. Cleveland III, Bobby Cleveland and his wife, Roxi and Ray Cleveland and his wife, Susan; a brother, Robert Kauffman and his wife, Terri; stepsisters, Peggy Bailey and her husband, David, Chris Baker and her husband, Albert and Beth Rogers; her step-brothers, Kevin Wharton and Jeff Wharton; her grandchildren, the lights of her life, McKenzie Kauffman, Brandon Cleveland, Miranda Cleveland, Makala Cleveland, Jordon Cleveland, and Dalton Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Melson Funeral Services, Thatcher Street, Frankford.

A funeral service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.

Burial will be in St. George's Cemetery, Clarksville.
