Reneé Scuse

SMYRNA - Reneé Scuse passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, Sept. 23, 2018.
Mrs. Scuse was born the daughter of the late Homer H. Stevens and Emily Bason.
She graduated from Smyrna High School in 1956.
Reneé was a dedicated wife, loving homemaker and devoted grandmother. While raising a family of three, she also maintained the family business records for George E. Scuse & Sons.
Reneé was a past member of the Mid-Atlantic Haflinger Association and was an honorary lifetime member of Citizens Hose Fire Company.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George E. Scuse, Sr.; and a granddaughter, Kasie Nicole Solloway.
She is survived by two sons, George Jr. and his wife Shelley, and Larry; a daughter, Lisa Scuse Solloway; her seven grandchildren, who were her pride and joy, Morgan, Steven, Ryan, Tayler, Jenna, Alivia, and Wade; and a great grandson, Wyatt. She is also survived by her siblings, Ronald Stevens (Betty), Joan Jones (Carlton), and Mac Stevens (Cheryl).
A visitation will be held on Friday, Sept. 28, 2018 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the Faries Funeral Chapel, located at 29 S. Main St., Smyrna. Funeral services will begin at 3 pm.
Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Smyrna.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Delaware Hospice, 911 South DuPont Hwy., Dover, DE 19901.
