Reginald Brown CLAYTON - Reginald Brown departed this life July 12, 2008, at Kent General Hospital. He was born Oct. 17, 1959, to the late Oakley Sr. and Sally Brown in Clayton. He was fondly known as "Reggie" to everyone he came in contact with. Reggie was the youngest of seven children. He was educated in the Smyrna/Clayton School District and graduated from Smyrna High School. Reggie loved his family friends and the dogs he owned, Six Toes, Ghost Man and Diesel. He leaves to cherish his memories his daughter, Maria McClure; special companion and fiancé, Pamela Marvel; two brothers, Leon Robinson and Oakley Brown Jr.; one sister, Catherine Price; two aunts, Pauline Wisher and Josephine Simmons; an uncle, the Rev. Samuel Simmons; two sisters-in-law, Betty Robinson and Joanne Brown; a brother-in-law, Otis Price; a grandson, Casey L. Swain Jr.; a host of nieces, nephews, friends and cousins; and his special buddies, Nathaniel "Nate" Murray, Jimmie Johnson, Karen McColister, Cheryl Lowman and Billy Wright. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Byrd's AME Church, Clayton, where friends may view two hours prior. Burial will be at Mt. Friendship Church Cemetery, Kenton, Md. Arrangements by Bennie Smith Funeral Home.
