Rebekah (Hennly) Williams, 58

VALDOSTA, Ga. - Rebekah (Hennly) Williams of Valdosta died Friday, Sept. 7, 2007, at her residence. She was 58.

She was born March 3, 1949, in Rome, to the late James R. Sr. and Cleo (Wray) Hennly.

Mrs. Williams was a dental surgical assistant and a member of First United Methodist Church of Valdosta.

She is survived by her husband, Edward A. Williams; a son, Matthew Williams and his wife Jackie Brewer; a daughter, Christin Williams; a son, Kirkland Williams and his wife Dana; her grandchildren, Joslynn, Logan, Andrea and Paiten; her brothers, J.R. Hennly Jr. and Charles Hennly, all of Valdosta; a sister, Joan Hennly of Safety Harbor, Fla.; several nieces and nephews; and a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Eugene T. and Carolyn Williams of Cambridge, Md.

Memorial services will be 4 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home, where friends may call one hour prior. The Rev. Jason Shirah and the Rev. Tommy Mason will be officiating.

Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the Mayo Clinic, Hematology-Oncology Department, Jacksonville, Fla.; American Cancer Society; or the Humane Society.
