Reba Adams Wheatley, 88 FEDERALSBURG, Md. - Reba Adams Wheatley, of Federalsburg, passed away July 18, 2008, at her home. She was 88 years old. Born near Adams Crossroads, Del., on Nov. 15, 1919, Mrs. Wheatley was the daughter of the late Clarence Washington Adams and Olevia Collison Adams. Her husband, George Thomas Wheatley, predeceased her in December 1988. She attended the Woodenhawk one room school house and later graduated from the Bridgeville High School. She spent the next 70 years on her farm. Mrs. Wheatley is survived by six children, Wayne Adams Wheatley of Easton, Olivia D. Wilson of Broomall, Pa., George Thomas Wheatley Jr. of Federalsburg, Deborah Wheatley Whitehead of Lansdowne, Pa., Karen Wheatley Wooster of Alexandria, Va., and Susie Wheatley Raske of Denton; one sister, Bernice L. Adams of Wilmington, Del.; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Moore Funeral Home, 12 S. Second St., Denton, where friends may call from 1 until 2 p.m. The internment will follow in Bloomery United Methodist Church Cemetery, Smithville. Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to Stonecroft Ministries, P.O. Box 9609, Kansas City, MO, 64134; or Caroline Hospice Foundation, P.O. Box 362, Denton, MD.
