Ray H. Spillers, 80

DOVER - Ray H. Spillers, died Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2008, in Silver Lake Center, Dover. He was 80. Mr. Spillers was born May 22, 1928 in Sumner, Ga., to the late Mamye Spillers. He served in the United States Marines and then the United States Air Force, and was a veteran of the Korean War. He is survived by his son, James Cunniff and his wife Susan; brothers, William, Jack, Gerald, and Donald White; sisters, Edith Thomas, and Kathy Krumm, of Felton; and three granddaughters, Allison, Marybeth and Katelyn. A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, 2008 at the Christ Memorial Baptist Church, 1160 E. Lebanon Road (Rt. 10), Dover. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the VFW National Home for Children, 3573 S. Waverly Road, Eaton Rapids, MI 48827.
