WILMINGTON - Ramona Haughey passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2013 at Seasons Hospice at Christiana Care surrounded by her family. She was predeceased by her husband, J. Rodger Haughey, in 2010; and her son, Dominick. She will be dearly missed by her children and their spouses, Gregory V. of New Castle, Patrick D. (Sally) of Pittsburgh, Pa., Rodger F. (Wendy) Haughey of Newark, Susan C. "Susie" (William) Hudson of Wilmington, and Shannon "Shanie" (Paul) Thompson of Wilmington; and seven grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 25, 2013 at St. Joseph on the Brandywine Church, 10 Old Church Road, Greenville. Friends and family are invited to visitation on Thursday evening between 6 to 8 p.m. at Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Road, Wilmington, and again at the church Friday morning between 10 to 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at the adjoining cemetery.
