BRIDGEVILLE - Ralph L. Wilkins passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2018 at Bayhealth/Milford Memorial Hospital. Ralph was born in Milford, son of the late Elwood R., Sr. and Grace L. (Donovan) Wilkins. He resided most of his life at Stockley Center in Millsboro and for the past 13 years with the South Union Group Home near Ellendale. He worked with Easter Seals in the janitorial department and at Delaware MENTOR in assembly. Ralph loved to travel, go fishing and being out and about; he especially enjoyed his summer camping trip at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park near Milford. He also attended All Faith's Chapel at Stockley. In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by two brothers, Eugene Wilkins and Elwood R. Wilkins, Jr.; and a sister, Sara Tucker. He is survived by three sisters, Elizabeth Schrock and husband Pete of Milford, Alice Ross and husband Jim of Felton and Barbara Moore and husband Jack also of Milford; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2018 in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Homes, 119 NW Front Street, Milford with a time of visitation from 12 to 1 p.m. Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery.
