Ralph Kennard Jackson MILLINGTON, Md. - Ralph Kennard Jackson, of Millington, died Sunday, April 4, 2010, at Chestertown Nursing and Rehab in Chestertown. He was 88. Ralph K. Jackson was born March 24, 1922, in Millington, the son of the late Harvey A. and Julia A. (Hay) Jackson. He was married July 24, 1941, to Anna Kovacs and the two were married for 61 years until her death in June 2003. Thru out his life he enjoyed many things including hunting, spending many hours working on the farm, attending the Crumpton Sales on a regular basis and spending time with his younger family members. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Kovacs in 2003; one son, Edward S. Jackson Sr.; one grandson, Harvey Andrew Jackson; three sisters, Bertha Cole, Myrtle Dixon, Beatrice Jackson; and four brothers, Willard T. Jackson, Elwood H. Jackson, B. Julian Jackson, and Andrew Jackson. He is survived by four sons, Ralph Jackson Jr. of Goldsboro, Richard Jackson Sr. of Felton, Del., Thomas Jackson Sr. of Millington, Charles Leager of Sudlersville; three daughters, Rose Hutson of Henderson, Daisy Combs of Millington, and Susan Vogel of Millington. Also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Services will be held Friday, April 9, at 11 a.m. at Fellows, Helfenbein and Newnam, 370 Cypress St., Millington. A visitation will be held Thursday, April 8, from 6 to 8 p.m. also at the funeral home. Interment will be held in Sudlersville Cemetery in Sudlersville, Md.
