Ralph Joseph Sipple

APACHE JUNCTION, ARIZ. -Ralph Joseph Sipple passed away Nov. 23, 2012. Ralph was born Dec. 12, 1918 in Dover, Del. Ralph served his country during World War II on the naval ship USS New Mexico. Ralph served 18 years in prison ministry in Delaware and was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Mesa, Ariz. Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, Wallace Lee and Maude Rash Sipple; his brother, Austin Sipple; and his sons, Robert Ralph and Kenneth Lee Sipple. He is survived by his wife of 73 years, Audrey Wilkinson Sipple of Apache Junction, Ariz.; his son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Faye of Florence, Ariz.; and his sister-in-law, Ina Wilkinson Hopkins of Dover, Del.; five grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Alzheimer's Foundation at alzfdn.org. Services will be held Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012 at 9 a.m. at A Wise Choice Desert View Chapel, 9702 E. Apache Trail, Mesa, Arizona. Burial to follow at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd., Phoenix, Arizona.
