Ralph 'Jerry' Bradley, 79 MILFORD - Ralph "Jerry" Bradley, of Milford, died Tuesday, June 1, 2010, at Milford Memorial Hospital. He was 79. Mr. Bradley was born March 16, 1931, in Dover, to the late Ralph Bradley and Alice Gourley Bradley. He served in the United States Coast Guard for 4 years. Mr. Bradley retired in 1986 after 30 years of service from the United States Postal Service as a carrier. He enjoyed repairing bicycles, gardening, NASCAR and was a big football fan. Mr. Bradley is survived by his wife of 58 years, Phyllis Anderson Bradley of Milford; three children, Carol Starke and her husband Todd of Camden, Diana Hammond of Dover and David W. Bradley and his wife Sandra of Corolla, N.C.; sister, Joyce Tieman and her husband William of Camden; grandchildren, Jessica Everett and Billie Jo Bradley; and great-grandchildren, Andre, Matthew and Kennedi. Graveside services will be 11 a.m., Friday June 4, 2010, at Barratt's Chapel Cemetery, 6486 Bay Road, Frederica. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Carlisle Volunteer Fire Company, P.O. Box 292, 615 NW Front Street, Milford, DE 19963. Arrangements by Torbert Funeral Chapels, Dover. Letters of condolence may be sent, and guestbook signed at www.torbertfuneral.com.
