Rachel Elizabeth Scott

DOVER - Rachel Elizabeth "Libby" Scott, the ninth of ten children, was born on Apr. 22, 1930, in Magnolia, to the late Raymond Scott and Mary E. Bowers Scott. She passed away peacefully on Mar. 16, 2017, at Bayhealth Medical Center in Dover.
Libby was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Elder Mary E. Scott; and her siblings, Ida, Raymond, Howard, Thomas, David, Sarah, Ellen, Ruth, Eva Mae and Marian.
She is survived by her niece and caregiver, Delores Milbourne; her nieces and nephews, Charlynn Boyer, Dwayne (Clarise) Boyer, Robin (Timothy)Couch, Iris (Ivan) Broomer, Myra Moore and Brian Moore; great-nieces and great nephews, including special great-niece, Dior Smith Boyer; Goddaughter, Clarenda Purnell; adopted nephews, Andrew (Courtney), and Joseph Bratten; cousins and special friends.
Viewing will take place on Saturday, Mar. 25, 2017, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., at Union Missionary Baptist Church, 883 Lincoln Street, Dover. Celebration of Life will follow the viewing. Condolences, resolutions and flowers may be sent to Union Missionary Baptist Church, 883 Lincoln Street, Dover.
