Priscilla P. Young

DOVER - Priscilla P. Young recently passed into the presence of her Savior after a lengthy battle with numerous illnesses.
Priscilla was born and raised in New Britian, Conn. where she attended and graduated from New Britian High School and Central Connecticut State University. She also earned an MS degree in Education at Old Dominion University, Norfolk, Va. and an MS degree in Elementary Education Counseling at Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, Va.
Priscilla spent a career as an elementary school teacher and counselor for 35 years prior to her retirement in 1999. The last 24 years of her career was spent in Roanoke, Va. where she developed an elementary guidance counselor curriculum.
In 1998, Priscilla married Edward H. Young and moved to Delaware where they both became active members of Wyoming United Methodist Church, Wyoming.
A memorial service celebrating Priscilla's life will be held on Sunday, Oct. 8, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. in Wyoming United Methodist Church, 216 Wyoming Mill Road, Dover, DE 19904. A reception will follow the service.
In lieu of flowers, it is requested that memorial donations be sent to Wyoming United Methodist Church at the address above.
