DEARING, Ga. - Preston T. Foskey, of Dearing, formerly of Georgetown, Del., passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2009, surrounded by his loving family. He was 59. Mr. Foskey was born in Millsboro, Del., the son of the late Ralph W. and Viola (McGinnes) Foskey Sr. Mr. Foskey worked for Baltimore Air Coil in Milford, Del., for 5 years due to retiring for health reasons in 1993. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Vietnam and received numerous medals. He was a member of the 173RD Air Born Brigade in Fayetteville, N.C., and a member of the D.A.V. He enjoyed wildlife and his dogs. In addition to both parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph W. Foskey Jr. Mr. Foskey is survived by his wife of 12 years, Jo Ann (Bernheart) Foskey; three daughters, Sheila Pase of Dearing, Tanya Foskey of Milford, and Sheena Foskey of Tulsa, Okla.; four sisters, Helen Willey of Georgetown, Judy Marvel of Milton, Janet Foskey-Dill of Milton, and Barbra McColley of Ellendale; a brother Bruce Foskey, also of Ellendale; six grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. A funeral service will be 1 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 13, in the Chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 East Market St., Georgetown, where friends may call on Monday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. Burial will be in McColley's cemetery in Redden, Del.
