Preciosa Nacinopa Dunlap

DOVER - Preciosa Nacinopa Dunlap passed peacefully on Thursday, Jan. 25, 2018 at Bayhealth Kent General Hospital, after her courageous fight with cancer. Preciosa was born on Dec. 29, 1942, in Samar, Phllippines, and the daughter of Ruperto Crame and Felisa Nacinopa Crame.
Preciosa loved and enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, swimming, cooking, crocheting, line dancing, jewelry design and sewing. She graduated in 1973 from Lorraine Technical Institute in Angeles City, Philippines, in Dressmaking and was an excellent seamstress. Most of all she was an excellent cook and enjoyed feeding everyone with her Philippine cuisine.
In 1970, Preciosa married the love of her life Jerome Fredrick Dunlap. They celebrated their 47th Anniversary on Dec. 15, 2017. They enjoyed going to cruises and traveling the world with their friends. Preciosa attended services at Holy Cross Catholic Church, First American Baptist Church of Dover and was a very active member of the Modern Maturity Center in Dover. Preciosa worked as a supervisor in Sea Watch International Ltd, Country Pride and eventually retired from Dover Playtex in 2001.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Neli Trino; and brother, Simo Crame of the Philippines.
Preciosa is survived by her husband, Jerome Fredrick Dunlap; sisters, Melicia Bautista, Rosalina Mabag; and brother, Rodolfo Crame of the Philippines; daughters, Maria-Eva Nacinopa Sapp and her husband George Edward Sapp of Augusta, Ga.; Maria-Elena Nacinopa Harris and her husband Paul Edward Harris of Dover; grandchildren, Tyrell William Schoolfield and his wife Brevianna Schoolfield, Randall Crame, Lenea Jaimee' Deshields, Chaunte' Nicole Harris, Charissa Janay Curiel and her husband Phillip Curiel, Jazmyne Maria Sapp and fiance, Steven Bothun, Triston Harris, and Zelena Leonalla-Marissa Harris; great-grandchildren, Le'Ane Amari Duffield, Lilyana Jordyn Schoolfield, Azalea Mariah Schoolfield, Arist Shania Taylor, Amila Raelle Carruthers, Marshall Liam Carruthers, Calvin Cyree Hayward, Cayden Michael Hayward and other relatives and close friends.
The viewing and funeral will be on Sunday, Feb. 4, 2018, at Bennie Smith Funeral Home, 717 West Division Street, Dover, DE 19904. The viewing will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. There will be a graveside service following the funeral service at Sharon Hills Odd Fellow Cemetery, 35 Rising Sun Road, Camden-Wyoming, DE 19934. The Repass will be at 3 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 237 West Lebanon Road, Dover, DE 19901.
