Poulson E. Bolden, 95

MILFORD - Poulson E. Bolden, the last surviving child of James and Ocea (Woolford) Bolden, departed this life Friday, Dec. 14, 2007, following a brief illness. He was 95.

Mr. Bolden celebrated his 95th birthday on Dec. 8, 2007.

Born in Seaford, he lived his adult life in New Rochelle and White Plains, N.Y.

Mr. Bolden had been a resident at the Heritage of Milford since August 2007.

He was retired from the U.S. Postal Service.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Edward Bonnie Bolden.

He leaves to mourn his memory three daughters, Betty Morton of Oxford, Pa., Jay Nutter of Hartford, Conn., and Ocea Thomas of Atlanta; 10 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 18 great-great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; and his devoted companion, Doris Parris.

A graveside memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, in Macedonia Cemetery, Seaford.

Arrangements by Lofland Funeral Home, Milford.
