Phyllis Ann Clayville, 76
LINCOLN - Phyllis Ann Clayville passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at Berlin Nursing and Rehabilitation in Maryland.
Phyllis was born in Milford, DE, on March 24, 1947 to the late George and Evelyn (Kemp) Phillips. Phyllis was raised in Ellendale during her childhood. While she will be remembered for many things, her meticulous attention to detail while cutting the grass will never be forgotten. Phyllis loved her family deeply; she would do anything for them, and she was always there for the ones she cared about. She worked at Mountaire Farms as a quality control technician for 20 years.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents: George and Evelyn Phillips; son, Frank Vadakin; siblings: Ruthann Jester, Ann Sherman, and George Phillips; granddaughter Julia Vadakin; and nephew, Jamie Phillips.
She will be greatly missed by her loving husband, Leslie Lee Clayville; children; Russell Vadakin and Robert Vadakin; siblings: Tommy Phillips, Lonnie Phillips, Doug Phillips, Laura Phillips, and Martha Potwell; eight grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
A time of visitation to celebrate Phyllis' life will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 pm on Friday, March 8, 2024 in the chapel of Berry Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front St. Milford, DE 19963.
