Phoebe G. Sipple

Phoebe G. Sipple, 84 MILFORD - Phoebe G. Sipple passed away peacefully in the early hours of Christmas morning, Dec. 25, 2009. She was born on Jan. 13, 1925, in Pittsburgh, Pa., the daughter of Winfield Scott Grenoble and Catherine Moore Grenoble. Phoebe was predeceased by her husband, William V. Sipple III, in 2002. She was a homemaker who attended Christ Episcopal Church, Milford, for over fifty years. Civic involvement included the Milford Garden Club, Milford Memorial Hospital Ladies Auxiliary, and Abbots Mill Nature Center. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Jacque Sipple of Milford; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. A private family burial was held Saturday, Dec. 27, at All Saints Cemetery, Angola. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Christ Episcopal Church, 200 Church St., Milford, DE 19963. Arrangements by Lofland Funeral Home.
