Philip Sidney Betts

DOVER - Philip Sidney Betts passed away, Sunday, Aug. 12, 2018 at home.
Mr. Betts was born March 27, 1938 in Salisbury, Md. to the late Arthur L. Betts and Mildred M. Price Betts, and graduated in 1956 from Wicomico Senior High School and had attended Peabody Conservatory of Music and John Hopkins University in Baltimore.
He was a member and organist of The People's Church of Dover. Previously Mr. Betts served Wesley United Methodist Church and Presbyterian Church both in Dover. He was a member of the Biggs Museum of American Art and the Philadelphia Branch of The Delius Society.
A memorial service will be held 4 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 26, 2018 at The People's Church, 46 S. Bradford Street, Dover. Friends may call one hour prior.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Delaware Hospice, 911 S. Dupont Highway, Dover, DE 19901 or People's Church of Dover, 46 S. Bradford Street, Dover, DE 19904.
