SEAFORD - Peggy Martinez went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 1, 2013. Peggy was surrounded with the love of her family at Maryland General Hospital in Baltimore, Md. Peggy was born June 22, 1950 in Milford to the late Bill and Jo Handloser. She graduated from Bridgeville High School, class of "68". Peggy worked as an office manager for Penco in Seaford for many years. She was an avid reader, Oriole's fan, enjoyed dirt track racing, taking long rides with her sisters with no destination in mind, and watching her grandchildren play sports. Peggy was a member of Wesley UMC in Seaford. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her grandson, Michael A. Smith Jr. of Bridgeville. She is survived by a son, Chris Martinez Sr. and his girlfriend Gina Wilson of Seaford; a daughter, Maria L. Boyd and her husband David of Seaford; six grandchildren, CJ, Skye, Caleb, Sean, Blake and Harlie; two sisters, Phyllis Donovan of Milford and Donna Seabrease and her husband Donnie of Bridgeville; two nieces; 11 nephews; her church family and many friends. Memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Wesley UMC in Seaford. Friends may call one hour before the memorial service. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Wesley UMC, 22025 Atlanta Road, Seaford, DE 19973. Arrangements by Fleischauer Funeral Home, Greenwood.
