     Peggy Ann Byrnes, 73, of Peachtree City, GA passed away on April 17, 2025 after a lengthy battle with many chronic illnesses. Peggy was born on July 8, 1951 to Gary & Hazel Lee in Brunswick, Georgia. She moved to Hartly, Delaware when she was 11-years-old and was a graduate of Dover High School, class of 1969. She also married her childhood sweetheart and father of her children, Durward (Willie) Conley, in 1969. Peggy spent most of her career in banking and was a former business owner and homemaker. Peggy is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Byrnes, parents, & brothers, Jeffrey Lee and Robert Lee. She leaves behind her sister Ellen Conley, children, Brent Conley (Jenifer) of White Oak, GA & Heather Underwood (Scott) of Fayetteville, GA, her grandchildren, Zachary Conley, Matthew Conley, Michael Conley, Reagan Conley, Jackson Underwood, and Anniston Underwood, and many beloved cousins, nieces & nephews, and friends.
     Peggy was a big personality in a small package. She was determined, intelligent, witty, and generous. She was a proud member of the American Legion and had many hobbies, including playing cards, games, golfing, dancing, bowling, and fishing. Peggy loved dogs, the beach, antiques and her family.
Celebration of Life Services will be held at a later date this summer.
