SMYRNA - Pearl L. Douglas, was born in Smyrna, February 9, 1951 to the late Pearl and Everson Roach, Sr.; departed this life on April 1, 2017, surrounded by her loving family.
She is survived by her husband, Mr. Frederick J. Douglas, Sr.; two (2) children, Frederick J. Douglas, Jr. and Patricia L. Blakey (Dusty); four (4) grandchildren, David J. Blakey, Samara R. Brinkley, Dominique N. Blakey and Daphne A. Blakey; one (1) great-grandchild, Shane R. Maddams. She also leaves nine (9) siblings: Evelyn Clayton (Robert), Doris Preston (Charles), Carrie Gunter (Rodney), Everson Roach, Jr., Warner Roach (Stephanie), Charles Roach (Rosetta), Marian Favors, Joyce January (Kenneth), Ronald Roach and host of extended family and friends.
Services will be held 11 am today, at Union Missionary Baptist Church, 883 Lincoln Dr., Dover, DE 19904. Viewing from 10 – 11 am with Homegoing Service to follow. Interment will be held April 10, at 2:00 p.m. in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear, DE.
