Pearl G. (Banks) Robinson, 85
MILLVILLE - Pearl G. (Banks) Robinson of Millville passed away Thursday, March 15, 2007, in Beebe Medical Center, Lewes. She was 85.
Mrs. Robinson was the daughter of the late Raymond L. and Emma (Tyre) Banks.
She was a member of St. George's United Methodist Church in Clarksville, and part of the BYKOTA class at the church.
Mrs. Robinson enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed playing card games, dominoes and going out to eat with her friends Louise Toomey, Ruth Davidson and Sissy Toomey.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Manaen S. Robinson Jr.; two brothers, Ezekiel Banks and Raymond Banks Jr.; and her sister-in-law, Louise Banks.
She is survived by her beloved children, Diane Robinson Madara and her husband Ken of Selbyville, Donna Lee Robinson of Laurel, Don Robinson and his wife Ann of Newark and Manaen S. Robinson III and his wife Cynthia of Millsboro; six grandchildren, Laura Madara of Montchanin, Lisa Goodwin and her husband Ed of Pasadena, Md., Denise Robinson and her fiance Todd Bartow of Elkton, Md., Dean L. Robinson and his wife Maria of Anchorage, Alaska, Megan Moore and her husband Shawn of Dagsboro and Manaen S. Robinson IV of Albany, N.Y., and his fiancee Cara Deldeo of Millsboro; nine great-grandchildren, Christopher Jock and Stephanie Chichester, Andrew Jock, Cheryle Jock Bunting and her husband James, Christopher Robinson, Gigi Robinson, Rachel Robinson, Marshall Robinson, Tyler Moore and Kaylee Moore; one great-great-grandson, Matthew Bunting; three sisters, Verdie West of Milford, Margaret West of Frankford and Linda Showell and her husband Sam of Millsboro; a lifelong friend, Gladys Gramlich of Florida; and a host of dear cousins, nephews, nieces, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral service will be noon Thursday in the Frankford Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, Thatcher Street, where friends may call after 10 a.m.
Interment will be in St. George's Cemetery in Clarksville.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Pearl's name to St. George's United Methodist Church, 34464 Atlantic Ave., Ocean View, DE 19970; or to the Millville Volunteer Fire Co., 316 Atlantic Ave., Millville, DE 19967.
