PITTSVILLE, Md. - Pauline (Rogers) Parsons of Pittsville went home to be with the Lord Friday, May 18, 2007, after suffering a massive stroke at Peninsula Regional Medical Center, Salisbury. She was 70.
She was born Sept. 13, 1936, in Frankford, daughter to the late Milton J. and Edna E. (Bunting) Rogers.
Pauline attended and graduated from Selbyville High School in 1955, and was married on June 25, 1955. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who cherished and loved her family more than anything.
She enjoyed cooking, gardening, singing and taking care of her beloved poodle, Ginger. She also enjoyed dining out with her family.
Pauline leaves behind to cherish her memories, her devoted and loving husband of 51 years, W. Lewis Parsons; a son, Roger Parsons and his wife Lisa of Pittsville; a daughter, Linda S. Parsons and her fiance Donald Dorsey of Denton; and two grandchildren whom she adored dearly, Phillip and Austin Parsons of Pittsville. She is also survived by a brother, Clarence Rogers and his wife Sharon of Millsboro; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be Tuesday, at 2 p.m., in the Frankford Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, Thatcher Street, Frankford, where friends and family may call after 1 p.m. Interment will be in Pittsville Cemetery. The Rev. Paul Sherwood will be officiating.
