THAYER, Mo. - Pauline Mary Conley Cahall was born the daughter of Samuel and Mildred Thompson Conley on Aug. 16, 1924, in Ingleside, Md., and departed this life on July 27, 2009, at her home in Thayer, Mo., at the age of 84 years. She was united in marriage March 31, 1943, at Harrington, Del., to John Francis Cahall, who preceded her in death on May 13, 1995. She is survived by four children, Donald Cahall or Millington, Md., Patricia Benson of Kissee Mills, Mo., Shirley Loller of Chestertown, Md., and Bonieta Vansant of Gordonsville, Va.; 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter, four sisters, and several nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John Cahall; one great granddaughter, one brother, and one sister. Mrs. Cahall was a devoted homemaker; a loving and caring wife; mother and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking, quilting, collecting bric-a-brac and adopting as her own. She was one of Jehovah's Witnesses and will be truly missed by her family and friends. A memorial service will be 2 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 30, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Wittnesses on Rt. 544 at Burchard Sawmill Rd. In lieu of flowers contributions can be sent in her memory to People's Bank, P.O. Box 129 Millington, MD 21651. Local arrangements by Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home, Millington, Md.
