MIDDLETOWN - Paul Victor Haxton, of Middletown, died Friday Dec. 24, 2010, due to injuries sustained in a car accident. He was 30. Paul was born June 27, 1980, in Dover. He graduated from Caesar Rodney High School in 1998. He worked as a real estate agent for Keller Williams and worked as a salesman for P.J. Fitzpatrick Roofing, Siding and Doors. Paul played volleyball with Delaware Parks and Rec's and CYO Volleyball while in school. He enjoyed golf, basketball and playing soccer with his girls, who both loved to play. He also loved the Philadelphia Eagles and the Philadelphia Phillies. Paul was a very attentive father and was known for always being willing to help others. Paul was preceded in death by his father in-law, James McNair, II. He is survived by his parents, Paul and Susan (Walls) Haxton of Hartly; his wife of 7 years but loved and dated since he was sixteen, Trina Marie McNair Haxton of Middletown; two daughters, Lyndsey (6) and Hayley (4) Haxton at home; brother, Matthew Haxton and his wife Brandy of Magnolia; sisters, Karen and Lisa Haxton both of Hartly; mother in-law, Veronica Ernst and her husband Fred of Felton; step-mother in-law, Jean McNair of Dover; brothers and sisters in-law, James McNair III, Kent McNair, Beth Hardy and Toni McNair; nieces and nephews, Justice, Logan, Jasmyn, Jaydan, Alyssa, Lauryn, Noland, Anthony, and Tyler; many aunts, uncles, and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 31, 2010, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 631 S. State St., Dover. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday evening at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Interment will be in Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.
