Paul Samuel Sewall

FELTON - Paul Samuel "Sam" Sewall passed away on Sunday, Feb. 5th, 2017, in Dover. He was born Sept. 18, 1943 to Harry S. and Avis (Prescott) Sewall. On Jan. 29, 1964 he married V. Pamela Vasquez. Sam loved music, riding motorcycles, and taking long Sunday car rides. He owned and operated S.A.M.S. Appliance and Maintenance Service for 19 years until he retired in 2015, and was an auto mechanic for the better part of his life prior to that. He is predeceased by his parents; a sisters, Sally Diamond, Donna Thomas; and brothers, Leonard Sewall and James Sewall. He is survived by his wife, Pam; three daughters, Robin Butler of Milford, Renée Lash and her husband Kent ("Clark") of Summerville, Pa., and Reyme Sewall of Felton; five grandchildren, Tyler Welch and his wife Ashley, Amanda (Lash) Stevens and her husband Joe, Zachary Lash, Aidan Talemal-Sewall and Noah Talemal-Sewall; and three great-grandchildren, Nathan Welch, Nikolas Welch and Nolan Welch; two sisters Marianne Wilhelm of Federalsburg, Md., and Tina Kirby of Ridgely, Md., and a brother, Michael Sewall of Florida; as well as many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Special thank you to his nephew, David Diamond, for always being there whenever he called for "Davy Crockett", and to his sister, Marianne for being there for the past year. At his request, no services will be held. Arrangements handled by Berry-Short Funeral Home, Felton.
