Paul S. Jones

MILFORD - Paul S. Jones, Jr. died Monday, April 1, 2013 at Milford Memorial Hospital. Mr. Jones was born in Asheville, N.C., the son of the late Paul S. Jones, Sr. and Dorothy (Weaver) Jones. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Vietnam War. After the war, Paul went to work for the Department of Defense, working for 34 years before retiring in 1995. He was a member of the Carroll County and Millington gun clubs in Maryland and was an avid trap shooter. Paul was a member of the Mispillion Art League in Milford. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Dorothy Louise Sullivan. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen "Cass" Jones; three sons, Vincent Paul Jones and his wife Karen, of Towson, Md., Colin Daniel Jones and his wife Teressa, of Greensboro, Md., and Douglas Michael Jones of Halethorpe, Md.; two grandchildren, Audrey Elizabeth Jones and Zoe Olivia Jones; and a niece and nephew, Amy and Emmett Sullivan of Charlotte, N.C. A viewing was held on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at the Lofland Funeral Home, 102 Lakeview Avenue, Milford. Committal services were held on April 5, 2013 in the Chapel of the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro, DE. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to the Mispillion Art League, 5 N. Walnut Street, Milford, DE 19963.
