Paul Noble Lunsford Sr.

Lunsford, Sr., 59 CLAYTON - Paul Noble Lunsford, Sr. of Clayton, passed away Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Heartland Hospice House, Wilmington. He was 59. Paul was born May 25, 1956 in Wilmington, Delaware to Joyce Walls and the late Clyde Owen Lunsford. He worked in construction roofing with his grandfather, L.W. Walls & Sons, and then Harris Manufacturing in Smyrna. He enjoyed fishing and yard work. Paul was a very devoted and loving son, he has been taking care of his mother for the last 15 years. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by grandparents, Lindsay & Naomi Walls; brother, Bradley J. Lunsford; uncles, Ed & Bob Walls; and niece, Joyce Anne Morris. He is survived by his mother, Joyce Walls of Clayton; his wife of 5 years, Anna Stewart Lunsford of Clayton; son, Paul N. Lunsford, Jr. of Clayton; daughters, Christine Lunsford (Sean) of Christiana, Patricia Tutle of Wilmington, Melissa; brothers, Tracy Insley (Novella) of Wilmington, Joseph Insley (Louann) of Frederica; sisters, Lorretta Sheetz (William) of Newark and Teresa Squire of Canton, Ohio; fourteen grandchildren and one great grandchild; step children, Janet Rodriguez, David, Christine and Nick Yost, Anna and James Jones. Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude's Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Letters of condolences may be sent and guest book signed at www.torbertfuneral.com.
