LAUREL - Paul H. Jestice of Laurel died Monday, Nov. 6, 2006, in Nanticoke Memorial Hospital, Seaford. He was 93.
Mr. Jestice was born in Laurel, son of the late Isaac and Arria Jestice.
He loved farming and was a farmer his entire life.
His favorite pastimes were riding around the beautiful country side.
Mr. Jestice attended Old School Primitive Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Olive (Whaley) Jestice; a son, Dale Jestice; a brother, Raymond Jestice; a sister, Mattie Crouch; and a granddaughter, Hope Brittingham.
He is survived by two daughters and two sons-in-law, Doris and Charles Larrimore of Laurel and Deena and Randall Hitchens of Georgetown; a daughter-in-law, Evelyn Jestice of Laurel; four grandchildren, Jason Jestice, Sarah Prettyman, Joshua Hitchens and Megan Hitchens; a great-grandson, Coleman Jestice; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in Hannigan-Short-Disharoon Funeral Home, 700 West St., Laurel, where friends may call one our earlier. Elder Elbert Robbins will officiate.
Burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Laurel.
