DENTON, Md. - Paul F. Scott of Denton, died Friday, March 6, 2009, in Memorial Hospital at Easton. He was 77. Born in Denton in their home on the farm, Mr. Scott was the son of the late Arthur William Scott, Sr. and Clara Dell Cohee Scott. Mr. Scott worked at E.I.Dupont in Seaford, Del., for eight years before becoming a Route Salesman for Koontz Dairy where he worked for fifteen years. He then worked fifteen years for the Caroline County Board of Education in the maintenance department. He was also a farmer. Mr. Scott was a Life Member of the Denton Volunteer Fire Company. He was also a member of the Tuckahoe Equestrian Club and attended Ames Church in Hobbs near Denton. He is survived by his wife, Louise A. Scott of Denton; three sons, Steven R. Scott and his wife Pat of Dover, Del., Jeff A. Scott and his wife Linda of Denton, and David P. Scott and his wife Debra of Denton; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by one sister, Ella Henry Wright; and two brothers, Edward L. Scott and Arthur William Scott Jr. A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 11, at the Moore Funeral Home, P.A., 12 S. Second St., Denton, where friends may visit with the family from 10 until 11. The interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the Ames United Methodist Church, c/o Mrs. Charlotte Spier, 8882 Watts Creek Lane, Denton, MD 21629.
